About Two Doves Wellness

The mission of Two Doves Wellness & Therapy is to support the whole person through meaningful therapeutic experiences and thoughtful, evidence-based care. I draw from a variety of modalities to help foster growth, healing, and a deeper sense of overall well-being.

Therapy here is about more than just learning coping skills—it’s about creating the opportunity for more fully connected living: within yourself, in your relationships, and in the way you move through the world.

I currently offer individual psychotherapy via telehealth, with plans to expand to in-person sessions in the near future.

The long-term vision for Two Doves Wellness and Counseling is to provide both individual and group therapy, along with complementary services that support the whole person. This includes integrating creativity and art, nature-based practices, bibliotherapy, and other forms of personal care and wellness to enhance well-being and build confidence at every stage of life.

My name is Audrey, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients in multiple states. I am also a trauma survivor and someone who has done my own healing work, which deeply informs how I show up in this space.

My approach to therapy is both professional and personal. My path into this work was shaped by a desire to make sense of my own early experiences and to transform pain into something meaningful. Through addressing long-standing relational patterns and engaging in evidence-based therapeutic work, I found a way forward—one that allowed me not only to heal, but also to support others in doing the same.

I specialize in the treatment of grief, trauma, and PTSD, and much of my work centers on adult survivors of childhood abuse and/or neglect. Many of my clients come to therapy carrying unresolved experiences from both the past and present—often rooted in complex family dynamics—and are seeking to understand and break long-standing patterns.

It’s not uncommon for people to begin therapy without fully recognizing the impact of these experiences. Instead, they notice recurring patterns in their relationships—with partners, family members, or in the workplace—that they want to change, even if they’re not sure where those patterns come from.

Many have also been living with a deep, cumulative sense of grief—grief that has built over time. This can stem from the loss of childhood innocence, emotionally or physically absent caregivers, or relationships with loved ones that never became what they needed or hoped for. At times, this grief may present as, or be diagnosed as, depression.

These experiences and patterns are often (though not always) underlying factors in diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders, dissociative disorders, and somatic symptom disorders. In some cases, substance use may also be part of the picture.

My approach is grounded in helping clients make sense of these patterns with compassion, develop new ways of relating to themselves and others, and begin to move toward meaningful, lasting change.

Humans are complex, dynamic, and deeply resilient. While we each navigate our own challenges, we also have the opportunity to continually seek growth and move towards the best versions of ourselves. These experiences are deeply meaningful and transformative, even amongst the most painful of circumstances. It is an honor to partner with you on this journey as you discover and uncover the path toward healing, meaning, and lasting wellness.
